Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems Review, Analysis and Assessment Project

Boston Public Health Commission wishes to replace its legacy systems within the Finance and Human Resources Departments with a more user-friendly, modern, and integrated enterprise system. This project will commence with the selection of a consultant or firm to perform a discovery of our existing systems, processes and organizational needs including pain points. A thorough documentation and assessment will serve as the basis for the development of a comprehensive Statement of Work (SOW) and Request for Proposal (RFP) to procure the new system.

 

BPHC is seeking a consultant to assess and document all aspects of its current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and prepare a comprehensive Statement of Work (SOW) and Request for Proposal (RFP) for the creation and/or replacement of existing Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) with a comprehensive and state-of-the-art system. The requested ERP system should have integration and scalability to support the Enterprise, Financial, Human Resources and other related systems that is comprehensive to the union and federal grant activity that exists within our organization.

BIPOC LGBTQ+ Youth Mentorship

The Boston Youth Resiliency and Recovery Collaborative (BYRRC) is an initiative co-chaired by two BPHC programs: the Capacity Building & Training Initiative (CBTI) based within the Division of Violence Prevention (DVP) and the Office of Recovery Services. BYRRC activities under this RFP are funded via the FY21 Opioid Affected Youth Initiative (more info about OAYI).

BYRRC aims to prevent youth substance use and violence by catalyzing positive community and systems change; we do this through bringing together City and community stakeholders serving Boston’s youth and families to 1) inform Division of Violence Prevention and Recovery Services programming and priorities; 2) connect and share resources across sectors; and 3) provide opportunities for dialogue and building of shared language and knowledge.

BYRRC is seeking proposals from qualified youth-serving organizations to increase equitable access to high quality mentoring opportunities for Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) LGBTQ+ young people. Specifically, via this funding and associated supports BYRRC is seeking to enhance the selected organization’s capacity to provide trauma-informed and equitable mentoring programming and to reach a greater number of Boston’s BIPOC LGBTQ + Youth over a three-year period.

BHSI Breastfeeding Equity Campaign

The Boston Healthy Start Initiative (BHSI) provides direct support to pregnant and parenting women, children and families. It provides care coordination, connection to resources, health education, and advocacy. BHSI also coordinates the Community Action Network (CAN). CAN is a community coalition focused on reducing inequities in infant mortality and poor birth outcomes through policy strategies.

BHSI is seeking a marketing agency to support the development of a campaign to promote breastfeeding among Black families in Boston, with a focus on the neighborhoods of Mattapan, Dorchester, Hyde Park and Roxbury. The campaign will support Black families in Boston to initiate and continue breastfeeding for at least 6 months to promote health and wellbeing of black mothers, infants, and families and close the equity gap through the following strategies:

  • Promoting positive norms related to breastfeeding
  • Increasing awareness of breastfeeding supports and resources
  • Increasing awareness of laws protecting lactating and parenting families among families and employers
  • Expanding the local capacity of lactation support workers

Food Pantry Courier Services

The Boston Public Health Commission is seeking a vendor that can provide courier service of perishable and non-perishable goods from The Greater Boston Food Bank to The Boston Public Health Commission Shirley’s Pantry.
