Sam Fidler

Administrative Assistant

As the Administrative Assistant for the Mayor’s Office of Arts and Culture, Sam (pronouns: he/him/his) is responsible for assisting in the finance and administration of the Office’s larger and cross-cutting programs and events, centralizing and tracking the Office’s work, and coordinating internal communications. Under the supervision of the Director of Administration & Finance, Sam assists in a wide variety of financial functions within the Office, as well as providing clerical and scheduling support for Office staff.

A lifelong resident of Greater Boston, Sam has been patronizing the museums, theaters, concerts, and artistic centers of the City for as long as he can remember. Before working for the Mayor’s Office, Sam provided administrative support to mental health outreach teams working with the Vinfen Corporation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Theater and Performance from Emerson College in Boston, and enjoys attending, performing in, and working front-of-house for theatrical productions across Boston and New England.

Sam currently lives in Fenway, and enjoys cooking, kayaking, movies, classical music, and trips to the beach.
