Marie Tai
Marie Tai is an arts administrator, musician and arts education advocate. She is the Associate Director for Administration and Finance at the Office for the Arts at Harvard. Before arriving at Harvard in 2019, she served the Community Music Center of Boston in a variety of roles including Registrar, Early Childhood Coordinator, Administrative Director and Chief Operating Officer.
Marie was a steering committee member on the National Guild of Community Arts Education’s Artists for Racial Equity Network, which seeks to raise the profile of work being led by people of color in the arts. In 2017, she was selected as one of 25 fellows to attend the National Guild’s Community Arts Education Leadership Institute and was a National Guild Ambassador, co-leading its Large Schools Network.
Born and raised in Boston, Marie was educated in the Boston Public Schools, earned a B.M. from Berklee College of Music and an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts. She is a community volunteer, tennis player, yogi, traveler and ukulele student.
