  2. COMMUNICATIONS FROM HIS HONOR, THE MAYOR:

    0375 Message and order approving a supplemental appropriation of Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety-Nine Dollars ($9,899.00) to cover the FY19 cost contained within the collective bargaining agreements between the City of Boston and the New York Typographical Union, CWA Local 14156. The terms of the contacts are October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 and October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2020. The major provisions of the contract include base wage increases of 2% effective the first pay period in January of each fiscal year.

    0376 Message and order to reduce the FY19 appropriation for the Reserve for Collective Bargaining by Nine Thousand Eight Hundred Ninety Nine Dollars ($9,899.00) to provide funding for the Police Department for the FY19 increases contained within the collective bargaining agreements between the City of Boston and New York Typographical Union, CWA Local 14156.

    0377 Message and order approving an appropriation of Thirty-Four Million Nine Hundred Twenty-Six Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($34,926,700.00) form the Fiscal Year 2018 and Fiscal Year 2019 Community Preservation Fund revenues for community preservation projects at the recommendation of the City of Boston Community Preservation Committee ("CPC").

    0378 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Seventy-Six Thousand Three Hundred Forty Dollars and Thirty-Eight Cents ($76,340.38) in the form of a grant for the Tiny Tots Program, awarded by Leahy Holloran, Ohrenberger and Roslindale Community School Council to be administered by the Boston Center for Youth & Families. The grant will fund partial reimbursement of the cost of preschool programs at three BCYF sites.

    0379 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Sixty-Two Thousand Five Hundred Sixty-Two Dollars and Fifty Cents ($62,562.50) in the form of a grant, the Senior Companion Program 2018, awarded by Corporation for National and Community Service to be administered by the Elderly Commission. The grant would fund stipends for part-time community service activities by low-income persons who are 60 years and older.

    0380 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) in the form of a grant for the Emerging Artists Award, awarded by the Boston Foundation to be administered by the Department Arts and Culture. The grant will fund the original creation of contemporary artwork by emerging artists.

    0381 Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Two Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($2,700.00) in the form of a grant for the Eos Foundation Fellowship, awarded by the Eos Foundation to be administered by the Mayor's Office. The grant will fund an internship program.
