Air Pollution Control Commission hearing

The Air Pollution Control Commission will hold its next monthly hearing on December 15, 2021, at 11:30 a.m.

UPDATE: This meeting will only be held virtually and NOT in person. You can participate in the meeting by going to our Zoom meeting link or calling 929-205-6099 and enter meeting ID 863 2937 7111 #. You can also submit written comments or questions to apcc@boston.gov or via Twitter @BostonEnviro.

  1. Public Hearing at 11:30 a.m.

    Application for a Modified Downtown Boston Parking Freeze Permit from the United States of America in the Person of the U.S. Coast Guard to demolish and reconstruct a surface lot consisting of 427 exempt parking spaces located at 466-490 Hanover Street. This application is for a permit to operate in a surface lot with spaces to be used solely by personnel of the United States Coast Guard. Issuance of the permit would have no effect on the Downtown Parking Freeze bank.

    Application for a New South Boston Parking Freeze Permit from Howard Stein Hudson on behalf of 202-204 West First LLC for 24 commercial parking spaces located at 202 West First Street. This application is to construct a garage with spaces to be shared between guests, patrons, and employees of the facility. Issuance of the permit would withdraw 24 net spaces from the South Boston parking freeze bank.

    Application for a New South Boston Parking Freeze Permit from KRE 399 Congress Owner LLC to convert 10 spaces from residential use to commercial use in a parking facility with 144 parking spaces located at 399 Congress Street, with spaces to be shared between residents, guests, patrons, and employees of the facility. Issuance of the permit would withdraw 10 net spaces from the South Boston parking freeze bank. * Continued to the January 12, 2022 hearing.

    Application for a Modified East Boston Parking Freeze Permit from VHB on behalf of Cargo Ventures LLC for 575 park and fly spaces. This permit is to relocate spaces from a surface lot at 320 McClellan Highway to a new parking garage at 440 McClellan Highway. Modification of the permit would have no effect on the East Boston parking freeze bank. * Continued to an upcoming hearing.

    Application for a Modified East Boston Parking Freeze Permit from VHB on behalf of Cargo Ventures LLC for 127 park and fly spaces. This permit is to relocate spaces from a surface lot at 380 McClellan Highway to a new parking garage at 440 McClellan Highway. Modification of the permit would have no effect on the East Boston parking freeze bank. * Continued to an upcoming hearing.
