  1. Conservation Commission Rulemaking

    Notice is hereby given that the Boston Conservation Commission, under its authority pursuant to the Boston Wetlands Ordinance, Boston City Code, Ordinances, Chapter 7-1.4, is proposing regulations to further implement the provisions of the Ordinance to better protect the wetlands and related water resources within Boston by controlling activities affecting the resource areas.

    These proposed regulations will establish performance standards for Isolated Vegetated Wetlands, Vernal Pools & Vernal Pool Habitat, and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage.

    Written comments will be accepted for the next 30 days until 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 30, 2021. Written comments must be submitted by email to cc@boston.gov or by mail to the Conservation Commission, Boston City Hall, Environment Department, Room 709, 1 City Hall Square, Boston, MA 02201.
