  1. Emergency licensed premise inspections hearing

    The Licensing Board for the City of Boston (the “Board”) is holding a virtual emergency licensed premise inspection hearing on Tuesday, April 20, 2021, at 11 a.m. to address COVID-19 violations. Licensees observed in violation of any COVID-19 operational requirement will be required to attend this emergency hearing and will face immediate disciplinary action which may include, but is not limited to, the suspension or revocation of any License issued by the Board. The Board reserves the right to amend this hearing notice prior to the emergency hearing as necessary to reflect any Licensees observed in violation of COVID-19 operational requirements. 

    Attendance at the virtual emergency licensed premise inspection hearing is mandatory. Failure of the Licensee to appear at the virtual emergency licensed premise inspection hearing will result in disciplinary action by the Board including, but not limited to, the suspension or revocation of any license issued by the Board. 

    The Licensee has the right to legal assistance of counsel.

    Incident Description: Failure to adhere to mandatory COVID-19 operational requirements including parties of greater than six (6) patrons.  


    Licensee: Moogy’s Sandwich Shop Inc. d/b/a Moogy’s

    Licensed Premise: 154 Chestnut Hill Avenue

    Date of Inspection: April 16, 2021

    Incident Description: Failure to adhere to mandatory COVID-19 operational requirements including patrons standing with alcoholic beverages; patrons not wearing masks; employees not wearing masks; and failure to social distance.*

    *Non-COVID-19 violations are not listed and will be scheduled for a separate hearing.
