Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of One Hundred Fourteen Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-Seven Dollars ($114,737.00) in the form of a grant for the 2019 Port Security Grant Program, awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, to be administered by the Fire Department.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Seventy-One Thousand Three Hundred Thirty-Five Dollars ($71,335.00) in the form of a grant for the Federal FY2020 Emergency Management Performance Grant, awarded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, passed through the Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency, to be administered by the Mayor's Office of Emergency Management.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Forty Thousand Dollars ($40,000.00) in the form of a grant for the FFY2020 Municipal Road Safety Program, awarded by the United States Department of Transportation, passed through the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, to be administered by the Boston Police Department.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) in the form of a grant for the Simoni Foundation Donation, awarded by the Frank R. and Elizabeth Simoni Foundation Inc., to be administered by the Police Department.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Thirteen Million Five Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($13,520,000.00) in the form of a grant for the Federal FY20 Urban Area Security Initiative, awarded by the United States Department of Homeland Security, passed through the MA Executive Office of Public Safety and Security, to be administered by the Mayor’s Office of Emergency Management.

Message and order authorizing the City of Boston to accept and expend the amount of Three Hundred Seventy Thousand Four Hundred Fifty-Seven Dollars ($370,457.00) in the form of a grant for the FY20 Byrne Justice Assistance Grant-Local Allocation, awarded by the United States Department of Justice to be administered by the Police Department.

In accordance with Governor Baker's March 12, 2020 Executive Order modifying certain requirements of the Open Meeting Law and relieving public bodies of certain requirements, including the requirement that public bodies conduct its meetings in a public place that is open and physically accessible to the public, the City Council will be conducting this hearing virtually.
