Air Pollution Control Commission hearing

The Air Pollution Control Commission will hold its next hearing on March 18, 2020, at 11:30 a.m.

In accordance with the Procedures and Criteria for the Issuance of Parking Freeze Permits adopted under M.G.L. Chapter 111, Section 31C, the Boston Air Pollution Control Commission will hold a public hearing at 26 Court Street, Winter Chambers and online at 11:30 a.m. on March 18, 2020 to review the following projects. There will be brief presentations followed by a review of individual applications, and opportunities for public testimony.

  1. Application Review

    Application for a Modified South Boston Parking Freeze Permit from 411 D Street Associates LLC for 5 inventoried parking spaces and 122 excluded residential spaces to accommodate a mixed-use building. This permit is for an aboveground garage with inventoried spaces to be shared between prospective tenants, employees, and guests of the building. Modification of the permit would return 75 inventoried spaces to the South Boston parking freeze bank. *Continued from the December 18, 2019 hearing  

    Application for a Modified South Boston Parking Freeze Permit from VHB on behalf of Dotave Ventures LLC for 346 inventoried parking spaces to accommodate the consolidation of several existing surface parking lots. This permit is for a surface lot with inventoried spaces to be shared between the owner, its lessees, employees, patrons, customers, clients, patients, or guests. The proponent intends to return 347 inventoried spaces to the South Boston parking freeze bank from other permits associated with the project area, having no net effect on the South Boston parking freeze bank

    Application for a New South Boston Parking Freeze Permit from VHB on behalf of Dotave Ventures LLC for 1 inventoried space to accommodate the consolidation of several existing surface parking lots.     Application for a Modified Downtown Boston Parking Freeze Exemption from the Abbey Group on behalf of Boston Flower Exchange LLC for 405 exempt parking spaces and 100 commercial parking spaces. The exemption and permit is for the construction of a new underground parking garage with spaces to be shared between lessees, employees, patrons, customers, clients, patients, and guests of the project, and the general public. Modification of the exemption would allocate 100 commercial spaces from the Downtown Boston parking freeze bank.
