Before you get started
ALERTBoston is the City’s emergency notification system. If you don't sign up, you may still get alerts on your landline number if it's publicly listed. Make sure to tell us if your contact information changes. We'll never share your information with other organizations.
Sign up for alerts on our website
You can sign up on the ALERTBoston homepage. You can sign up for phone, text, and email alerts. Just enter your information and remember to check the terms and conditions box before you submit. You'll get a confirmation text or email once you submit the form.
For voice alerts, we call the phone number that you give us. We'll leave a message on your voicemail if you don't answer.
