Statement of Mayor Walsh on the Temporary Injunction to Suspend the Implementation of President Obama's Executive Action on Immigration

“President Obama’s executive action on immigration provides relief and options for thousands of families in our immigration system, and I am disappointed by Monday's temporary injunction to suspend the implementation of the expansion of DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) and the introduction of DAPA (Deferred Action for Parents of Americans and Lawful Permanent Residents). I am optimistic that the court system will find a resolution swiftly so we can move forward with this important initiative."
