    The MBTA Capital Investment Plan (CIP) is the five-year financial plan that funds all the MBTA’s capital projects. Capital projects are investments or activities related to acquiring, renewing, constructing, improving, or maintaining a capital asset, including project planning and design. At this meeting, we will provide an overview of the proposed FY 2024 – 2028 MBTA CIP and discuss some of our key capital projects.

    Join and Be Heard

    The MBTA is seeking comments from the public on the proposed FY 24-28 CIP. During the meeting, attendees will have the opportunity to provide comments on the proposed CIP. The public comment period is March 23 – April 24. You may also share your comments by email, online, or US mail:

    • Fill out our online CIP comment form—you'll find a link to it on the main CIP page starting March 23
