K-6 Conversion Renovation at Winship Elementary School

The City of Boston, acting by the Boston Public Schools, acting by Facilities Management, 1216 Dorchester Avenue Dorchester, MA 02125, hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority hereby invites an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the project listed above.

IFBs will be solicited from selected vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement. 

All quotes for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: For  K-6 Conversion Renovation at Winship Elementary School, 54 Dighton Street, Boston, MA 02135 

The scope of the Work includes but is not limited to Selective demolition of walls and ceilings and related finishes for the construction of a new resource room in the library including new gypsum wallboard partitions, new resilient floor and base, new and reworked acoustical ceilings, painting of new and disturbed surfaces, and associated mechanical and electrical work as part of the renovation work. 

A Pre-Bid Site viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Winship Elementary School, 54 Dighton Street, Boston, MA 02135. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. 

Quotes shall be submitted before 12:00 P.M., Boston time, Wednesday, May 18, 2022, and opened forthwith.

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available on or about Monday, May 02, 2022, after 9:00 A.M. Boston time
