The City of Boston acting by its Property Management Department, through its Commissioner of the Property Management Department (PMD), hereinafter referred to as the Awarding Authority, hereby invites bids for the above-entitled project as more particularly set forth in the Invitation for Bids, which may be obtained from the City's procurement website and Supplier Portal (http://cityofboston.gov/procurement) under Event ID EV00008922 beginning at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, April 5, 2021.  The Invitation for Bids shall be available until the bid opening.  Bids shall be on a form supplied by PMD, be clearly identified as a bid, and signed by the bidder.

THE SCOPE OF WORK is further detailed in the specifications and includes the following: full maintenance and repair contract for heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) equipment and systems at Boston City Hall and various City of Boston locations.

The contract will begin on July 1, 2021 and continue to June 30, 2024.  

The City has arranged a site visit for Thursday, April 22, 2020 at 11:00 am, for interested HVAC Managers to visit the site and make a visual inspection, email pmdbidinfo@boston.gov to confirm attendance.

Bids can be filed electronically, on or before 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at the above-mentioned site.  All hard copy bids can be submitted to an Official at the Property Management Department, Boston City Hall, Room 811, Boston, MA 02201 on or before 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, May 6, 2021. Due to the current health crisis, public access to City Hall has been placed on a limited schedule.   Respondents must make an appointment to attend the bid opening on May 6, 2021 at pmdbidinfo@boston.gov.  You must RSVP prior to coming into City Hall for Bid Opening.  Refer to the IFB for submission instructions.
