RFP HIGHLIGHTS

Boston-based nonprofit organizations serving immigrant populations are invited to apply to manage the implementation of the Dreamers School-Year Fellowship and become its Program Administrator.

This grant opportunity will be awarded to one Boston-based non-profit. Applicants must meet the eligibility requirement and have the organizational capacity to manage the multiple project components and fiscal responsibilities, including the distribution of operational funds to host organizations and providing bi-weekly stipends to fellowship participants.

A total of 100 Dreamers will participate in the program, receiving a stipend starting in March 2021. Immigrant youth will receive their stipends by the Program Administrator in coordination with host organizations.

Every week, fellows will complete 10 hours of work readiness experience, academic support, and leadership development in their host organizations both in-person and online. (HHS recommends a breakdown of 7 hours of work readiness experience and 3 hours of academic support/leadership development).

We look forward to working with you to ensure that Boston’s diverse immigrant youth gain hands-on professional experience, acquire 21st century skills, and have access to quality opportunities for enrichment and development during the school year

Applications are due by 5:00 pm EST on February 15, 2021.
