Owning a small business in Boston is a great thing and we know that running your business takes a lot of hard work. We want to help you become successful in your neighborhood. Through the Direct Install Program, you can qualify for a no-cost energy visit and be on your way to reducing your energy bills. This program provides cost-effective, turnkey, energy-saving products and services for small business customers with no up-front customer cost.
It doesn't matter if you own or rent. If you pay an Eversource or National Grid bill, you qualify — it’s that simple! The Small Business Program is designed specifically for smaller business customers whose average monthly demand is 300 kW or less.

Products and services
You'll get technical and financial assistance to find ways to become more energy efficient and save money. The no-cost energy audit identifies your energy saving opportunities.
If you qualify, you'll get a payment of up to 70 percent of the total cost of retrofitting your equipment. Custom projects may also qualify.
The program also offers a zero-percent financing option.
