Kathleen Hart
Kathleen Hart was born and raised in South Boston, MA. After attending The Winsor School in Boston, she graduated from Elon University with B.A. in Environmental & Sustainability Studies with minors in Political Science and Women & Gender Studies. There, she spent three years planning educational events, programs, and campaigns that focused on public health concerns for college students.
Through her experiential learning coursework, she enjoyed garden and outdoor education with young children and older adults. She strives to learn and teach others about the impacts of climate change, from a holistic, energetic point of view. Before joining the Environment Department, she worked at Save the Harbor/Save the Bay as a Senior Harbor Educator, overseeing and teaching the greater Boston community about the history of the harbor, how to enjoy it mindfully, and the importance of environmental stewardship.
As the Environment Department Communications Manager, Kathleen works to build positive, action-oriented, and solutions-based climate communications.
