How to sign up for a home energy visit

If you live in a one- to four-unit building, you can sign up for a home energy visit without your landlord's permission. Let your roommates know that you want to sign up for visit.

You’ll need to find your electric and heating bill account numbers. These are located on your online or paper energy bills. Keep those two numbers handy, you’ll need them to sign up for a visit.

Do you live in a building with five or more units? Tell your building owner or property manager to visit masssave.com/multifamily, or call 800-594-7277. They qualify for an energy assessment, lighting upgrades, insulation, air sealing, and more.

Call Mass Save at 617-635-SAVE (7283). Expect a 10- to 15-minute wait time. At this point, you’ll have to provide your account numbers.

Send your report to your landlord. Remember to tell them that they qualify for a 75% discount on insulation.
