The purpose of Memory Sunday is to highlight the impact of memory loss and Alzheimer’s disease in the African American community. At these events, faith-based organizations incorporate education about the prevalence of Alzheimer's disease and other dementia into religious services and related programs. This includes discussion about ways to reduce the risk of developing dementia, raising awareness about the importance of research and sharing the support available for care partners.

As part of The Museum of Science’s Pride weekend, this event will be an opportunity for the LGBTQ+ community of Boston to come together in an welcoming and affirming celebratory environment. There will be a DJ, live performances from local LGBTQ+ artists, lightning show presentations from the Museum of Science, as well as remarks from the Mayor.

Commemorate the brave LGBTQ+ people who risked their safety to advocate for the lives and humanity of LGBTQ+ people, to celebrate the richness and complexity of LGBTQ+ community, and to continue to advocate for equity and inclusion for LGBTQ+ people, especially those who face intersecting forms of oppression.

This event is presented by Mayor Michelle Wu, the Age Strong Commission, and Ethos. Older adults from across the City join together to celebrate LGBTQ+ pride.

Join us on Monday, June 3, at City Hall Plaza at 11 a.m. to kickoff Pride month with a flag raising, remarks from Boston Pride 4 The People, Road of Rainbows, Museum of Science, and performances!

We'd like to invite our Dorchester neighbors and Dorchester Park Pathways users have a chance to join our third Community Meeting. We’ll be holding a virtual meeting via Zoom featuring a presentation by our designers where the team will present a concept plan for Dorchester Park Pathways followed by question and answer session.

Looking for support getting connected to resources and navigating City services? Meet with the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement during our community office hours at the East Boston Branch of the Boston Public Library. 

Office hours will take place on the following days:

• First Thursday of every month from 4 - 7 p.m.
• Third Tuesday of every month from 10:30 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Registration is not required, and interpretation and disability accommodations will be available.

This event is to bring awareness to Navy recruiting and any opportunities the navy provides. The Navy Expo and Concert is an opportunity for organizations to provide information and resources to veterans attending the event through tabling. Veterans will be able to apply to programs that meet their specific needs and learn about the different opportunities available to them.

This concert will feature music from the Northeast Navy band.
