In this virtual information session, you’ll learn about free CORI sealing and expungement clinics, how these clinics operate, and which records are eligible to be sealed or expunged. Interested residents will be invited to apply to attend upcoming virtual clinics, which  pair participants with volunteer lawyers, provided by Lawyers Clearinghouse, who can review an individual’s legal options for sealing or expunging a CORI. If a participant’s record is found to be eligible for sealing or expungement, the lawyers will provide full legal representation throughout the process. Any costs for legal filings will be covered, as well.

Picnic In The Park

The Office of Fair Housing and Equity (FHE) is excited to be hosting a series of events we are calling "Picnics in the Park!"

April 28, 2022
2022-04-28T11:00:00 - 2022-04-28T13:00:00

The Office of Fair Housing and Equity (FHE) is excited to be hosting a series of events we are calling "Picnics in the Park!" We will provide a tailored fair housing training that will not only cover the history and laws protecting fair housing, but specifically discuss the rights of Boston's LGBTQIA+ community to have equitable access to housing. Afterwards, participants will take proactive steps by canvassing the local area with posters that we will display in local businesses and bulletins. Of course, light lunch will be served because what is a picnic without some refreshments! We look forward to this informative and collaborative event.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Maggie Callaghan at maggie.callaghan@boston.gov or 617-635-2536.
