St. Lucy's Feast starts at Thacher Street and Endicott Street in Boston's North End. The feast opens with a blessing of Statue of Santa Lucia and devotees. Then, in a solemn procession, the Statue of Santa Lucia is carried through the streets of the North End accompanied by Italian street bands, flower girls, and color guard.

Fisherman’s Feast of the Madonna Del Soccorso di Sciacca is Boston's oldest continuous festival.

• Thursday, August 16: Blessing of the Fishing Waters at 6 p.m. Christopher Columbus Park
• Friday, August 17: Feast opens at 6 p.m.
• Saturday, August 18 and Sunday, August 19: Feast continues from 12 p.m. to 11 p.m. each day
• Sunday, August 19: Grand Procession starts at 1 p.m.
• Sunday, August 19: Flight of the Angel Fleet display on Lewis Street and North Street

The San Rocco Procession starts at the US Coast Guard Base and continues along Commercial Street.

The St. Agrippina di Mineo Feast opens at 7 p.m. on Thursday, and is open from 12 - 11 p.m. on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The St. Agrippina di Mineo Procession takes place on Sunday at 12 p.m. on Hanover Street and Battery Street.

The St. Joseph Procession starts at St. Joseph Society Club and continues along Hanover Street.

The San Rocco Procession starts at the US Coast Guard Base and continues along Commercial Street.

The Madonna delle Grazie Procession starts at St. Leonard Church and proceeds to Hanover Street and Prince Street.

The City of Boston's annual official Independence Day commemoration includes:

• 9 a.m. - Official celebration begins at City Hall Plaza with a brief speaking program at the flagpoles lead by Mayor Martin J. Walsh.
• 9:20 a.m. - The marching units and dignitaries assemble and proceed from City Hall Plaza to Tremont Street.
• 9:30 a.m. - The procession halts  at the Old Granary Burial Ground where Sam Adams, John Hancock, Peter Faneuil and Robert Treat Paine are honored and then continues to Winter Street to Washington Street to Old State House.
• 9:40 a.m. - The Declaration of Independence is read by Captain Commanding Nicholas Schiarizzi of the Ancient and Honorable Artillery Company at the Old State House balcony, from which the Declaration of Independence was first read to Bostonians in 1776, by a member of the Ancients.
• 10 a.m. - Procession reforms from Congress Street to North Street and ends at Faneuil Hall.
• 10:15 a.m. - Patriotic Exercises are held at Faneuil Hall, with remarks from Mayor Walsh, oration by Dean Kenneth Elmore  and patriotic musical selections.
