The Senior Advisor for Community Safety is responsible for building a set of summer specific recommendations around the various aspects of community safety - namely engagement of community, along with efforts across the city prioritizing the intervention and prevention of violence. In 2022, Isaac Yablo engaged with communities across the city for the first-ever community focused Summer Safety Plan. In 2023, the Community Safety team hosted nearly 30 meetings in 9 neighborhoods to help prepare, preview and publish the plan.
