With your help, we identified specific locations suitable for new bike stations. At our open house, you can review maps, ask questions, and share your preferences. 

Drop in at any time during the open house and stay for as long as you need.

We will focus on Dorchester and Mattapan at this open house but have information about expansion in eastern Roslindale and in West Roxbury available, too.

We will be kicking off the event at 11 a.m. with remarks from Mayor Walsh and program partners, followed by a parallel parking contest with guest judges and contestants. This event is free and open to the public.

Boston’s Safest Driver is a smartphone app developed in partnership with the City of Boston's Transportation Department, The Mayor's Office of New Urban Mechanics, and Cambridge Mobile Telematics, with support from Liberty Mutual Insurance and the National Safety Council. The app provides you helpful feedback on your driving based upon five metrics: speed, acceleration, braking, cornering, and phone distraction.
