Join the City of Boston for a virtual meeting on Wednesday 9/22 from 5-6:30pm to inform the future investment of federal stimulus funds to help revive the creative arts sector in Boston! How can we best help artists, youth, and art-focused organization survive and thrive in the months and years to come?

Connect Downtown centers people—residents, commuters, and tourists—in a redesign of iconic streets in our downtown neighborhoods. Last year, we made changes to walk signals and created permanent separated bike lanes on streets downtown. This year, we are beginning our work on Cambridge Street.

During this meeting, we will learn more about storm water capture via rain gardens and other types of green infrastructure. We'll also hear about the National Green Infrastructure Certification Program at the Codman Square Neighborhood Development Corporation. We will discuss our options for integrating green infrastructure in the Cummins Highway reconstruction project.

During this meeting, we will discuss the intersection of public health and street design. We will talk about how to incorporate health into the Cummins Highway reconstruction project.

The Boston Public Works and Transportation Departments are planning to make improvements to the streets of Downtown Crossing. We want to improve the experience of walking in the district for all who live, work, visit, study, and shop here.
