In March 2022, the Mayor formed a Rent Stabilization Advisory Committee to guide development of a rent stabilization policy proposal for Boston.

The Advisory Committee will make recommendations to the Mayor and the Mayor’s Office of Housing on strategies to stabilize Boston rents and protect tenants from displacement. 

Members of the public are invited to attend listening sessions to share their thoughts and comments.

This listening session is focused on tenants, but all are invited to attend. The listening session will be conducted virtually. View the presentation prior to the listening session.

The Boston Transportation Department project team will be at South Station from 4-6 p.m. Come stop by and learn about the future of the corridor!

Archaeology tells us a story. The City of Boston's Archaeology team has found artifacts in Boston that tell a story of the enslavement of indigenous and African peoples. 

Together with documents and artifacts, the City of Boston is working to create an exhibit that shares these stories of enslavement in Boston. We want to hear from you about what you want to see in the exhibit.

We’re proposing changes to neighborhood streets in Lower Roxbury in response to your priorities. We’re hosting a series of outdoor in-person “pop-up” sessions this summer.
