In this round of the Opportunity Fund, Harvard University has contributed an additional $10,000 to be awarded to Allston-Brighton artists and projects as part of the ArtLab community benefits agreement. Find out how you can build a strong application and other ways the Ed Portal can support your work through space use and outreach. Dinner will be provided starting at 6:30 p.m. and the info session will begin at 7 p.m.

As part of National Recovery Month, we're hosting the Mayor’s Recovery Month Book Club, a series of events encouraging Bostonians to read books related to substance use and addiction. One of the featured titles is "If You Love Me: A Mother's Journey Through Her Daughter's Opioid Addiction" by Maureen Cavanagh.

Join Maureen in a conversation at the South Boston Branch of the Boston Public Library on September 13 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. to discuss her memoir and the impact the opioid epidemic has had on the City of Boston.
