After moving to Boston in 2O14 from Venezuela, Ana always looked for ways to meet new people and create community through photography and social media.

While industry events were fun, not being able to invite women who weren’t part of the industry was a concern for Ana. She daydreamed about an inclusive community of women in Boston regardless of the industry they were in, and so GirlFriends was born.

For Ana, GirlFriends has become more than a passion project, and is proudly her full-time job. Connecting women, building genuine friendships, and helping businesses gain broader exposure has been the most fulfilling thing Ana has ever done. 

When Ana isn't behind our awesome @girlfriendsboston Instagram stories and productive team meetings, you can find her watching Netflix, photographing around the city, and snagging her favorite cookies for a chill afternoon.
