Pai En Yu is the Strategic Communications Manager for the Mayor’s Office for Immigrant Advancement. She develops messaging about MOIA's work and the resources available to the public. Pai En manages press, interview requests, and social media. She is passionate about serving the community and often draws on her own Chinese-American immigrant experience as motivation.

Before joining MOIA, Pai En spent most of her career as a journalist and news producer in Los Angeles, Austin, and Boston. She also worked at an international publishing company where she specialized in English, Spanish, and Portuguese books.
