No-cost services and products proven to reduce your monthly energy bill are now available to renters!

For renters

Receive a no-cost energy visit from a Certified Energy Specialist who will provide the renter with money-saving, energy-efficient products on arrival – all at absolutely no cost to the renter. Landlord permission is not required, but if additional money-saving and efficiency opportunities are identified, Mass Save will follow up with the property owner.

Products and services provided/installed:
  • No-cost home energy visit from a Mass Save Certified Energy Specialist
  • No-cost LED light bulb replacement (saves $10/bulb/year)
  • No-cost low-flow shower heads and faucet aerators
  • No-cost “smart” advanced power strips (saves $30/year)
  • Substantial rebates for refrigerators and clothes washer replacement (if desired)
  • A custom report with tips for how to make your unit as comfortable as possible

  • Programmable thermostat (Cut 10-20% off your bill)
  • LED light bulb replacement  (saves $10/bulb/year)
  • Low-flow shower heads and faucet aerators
  • “Smart” advanced power strips (saves $30/year)
  • A custom report with tips for how to make your home as comfortable and efficient as possible
You may also qualify for:
  • 75% off up to $2,000 insulation improvements and installation
  • No-cost air sealing of walls and windows
  • Generous rebates to upgrade heating, cooling, and water heating systems
  • 0% interest Mass Save HEAT Loan to finance eligible upgrades
