Child Care
We provide parents and families with early childhood child care resources. We also connect them to vouchers and other programs that help parents afford high-quality child care.
Types of Child Care
Types of Child CareCenter-Based Programs
Centers serve children full or part-time in groups or classrooms from birth to five years old.
Infants through five years old whose families receive public assistance, children with a disability, and low-income families can apply online to Early Head Start/Head Start.
Family Child Care (FCC)
Family child care is delivered in a provider's home. Children in a FCC's home may range in age from infant through school age. Programs may serve between a maximum of six or 10 children (with an additional assistant). The current license for all these programs will be posted in a prominent location, so look for the license.
Kindergarten and Pre-K
There are several options to get our youngest learners off to a successful start.
