Egleston Square Library

Pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 7C, §§ 44-57, the City of Boston's Public Facilities Department (PFD), is requesting statements of qualifications (SOQ) from firms to perform "Design Services" for the demolition of the existing structure and development a new Egleston Square Branch Library of approximately 15,000 gross square feet, with a total construction budget of approximately $22,000,000 dollars.

This scope of services will be through Schematic Design with an option to extend through         Design Development, Construction Development, Bidding and Construction Administration. 

The scope of work includes development of Chapter 149 construction documents and construction administrative services. Project fees will follow the schedule as stated in the application form. Completion shall be 156 weeks after execution of a contract. Applicants must be a registered Architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

The project will be performed under applicable M.G.L. c.149 §§ 44A-44J.

The Designer Application may be obtained electronically ONLY from the Public Facilities Department Bid Counter, at 1010 Massachusetts Avenue, Annex, Boston, MA 02118 on or about June 5, 2023.
