Interested and qualified vendors are invited to submit proposals, which convey their commitment to high quality food and beverage service. The agreement that will be developed between the City and the successful vendor will be a lease agreement, with the successful vendor retaining 100% of the revenue generated at the "coffee shop". The lease will be for an initial term of five (5) years, with an option to renew the lease for up to five (5) more years at the City's sole discretion. The utilities (heat, air, electricity and water) will be paid by the City.

Requests for Proposals shall be available on Monday, July 6, 2020 until the proposal filing deadline.  All proposals shall be filed no later than Friday, July 24, 2020 at 2:00 pm. Refer to the RFP for proposal submission.

The City has arranged a site visit for Wednesday, July, 15, 2020 at 10:00 am, for interested food service operators to visit the site and make a visual inspection of the area to be managed. All Respondents are advised that the number of persons permitted to attend the Site visit, on behalf of each Respondent, is limited to a maximum of two persons. Email pmdbidinfo@boston.gov to confirm attendance.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, or any part or parts thereof, and to award a contract as the Official deems to be in the best interests of the City.  This contract shall be subject to the availability of an appropriation therefore.  The maximum time for proposal acceptance by the City after the opening of proposals shall be 90 days.  The award of this contract shall be subject to the approval of the Mayor of Boston.
