Grow Boston Innovative Food Production Program Funding Awards

The City of Boston acting by and through its Public Facilities Commission by the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH), Director’s Office Division, is seeking proposals for its Grow Boston Innovative Food Production Program Funding Awards

Grow Boston: Office of Urban Agriculture, which is a part of the Mayor's Office of Housing (MOH), works to increase food production in the City of Boston. MOH will offer funding awards for innovative food production investments by food-producing entities. These awards are intended to assist organizations that produce food or wish to produce food, to leverage innovative food production strategies, techniques, or locations to grow more food in the City of Boston or grow it more efficiently.

MOH anticipates funding awards of up to $100,000 depending on project size and scope in response to this RFP. A total of $300,000 is being made available for this program.

The RFP package will be available on March 27, 2023, and can be downloaded by registering at https://www.boston.gov/departments/housing/requests-proposals.  If you are unable to access it, please contact the Director of Grow Boston. Completed RFP responses must be submitted electronically by April 27, 2023, no later than 4:00 pm.
