Land – Parker and Terrace Street Development

The City of Boston, acting by and through its Public Facilities Commission by the Director of the Mayor’s Office of Housing, Neighborhood Housing Development Division, sells tax foreclosed or surplus municipal property to buyers who agree to invest in the rehabilitation of the property. The Parker and Terrace Street Request for Proposals makes land available specifically for the development of housing, community garden, mixed-use multifamily housing, and commercial/light industrial uses.

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified nonprofit organizations or other entities for the development of the parcels as mixed-use. The properties are being offered As-Is.

The Properties: 778 Parker St, 780 Parker St, 782 Parker St, 784 Parker St, 786 Parker St, 788 Parker St, 790 Parker St, 792 Parker St, 794 Parker St, 796 Parker St, and 77 Terrace St, Roxbury, MA, totaling approximately 58,000 square feet. It is strongly recommended that prospective developers avail themselves of the opportunity to inspect the site by driving by. 

The RFP package will be available on September 6, 2022, and can be downloaded by registering at https://boston.gov/dnd/rfps. If you are unable to access it, please contact the Development Officer. Completed RFP responses must be submitted electronically by November 7, 2022, no later than 4:00 P.M. (EST). 

The Mayor’s Office of Housing (MOH) will host a pre-applicant information session following the release of the RFP. The conference will be held on September 15, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. To participate, pre-registration is required using the following link: https://bit.ly/parkerandterrace
