7-12 Conversion Renovations at English High School

IFBs will be solicited from selected vendors through the City of Boston’s Supplier Portal: boston.gov/departments/procurement. 

All quotes for this project are subject to all applicable provisions of law and in accordance with the terms and provisions of the contract documents entitled: 7-12 Conversion Renovation at English High School, 144 McBride Street, Boston, MA 02130

The scope of the work, in general, is not limited to the demolition of existing walls, doors, ceilings, flooring, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical items. Installation of new GWB partitions, resilient base, flooring, ceilings, doors, mechanical and electrical items. Relocation and installation of salvaged ceiling and electrical items.

FILED SUB-BIDS for a sub-trade designated in Item 2 of the form for general bids shall be submitted to the Awarding Authority, 2^nd floor, 1216 Dorchester Avenue, Boston, MA 02125, before twelve o’clock noon (Boston time) on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at which time and place they will be opened and read aloud. Late bids will not be accepted

Filed Sub-bid trade (s): Acoustical tiles; Resilient flooring, HVAC, and Electrical work.

General Bids shall be submitted to the Awarding Authority, 2^nd floor, 1216 Dorchester Avenue, Boston, MA 02125, before twelve o’clock noon (Boston time) on Monday, May 30, 2022, at which time and place respective bids will be opened and read aloud.

A Pre-Bid Site Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at English High School, 144 McBride Street, Boston, MA 02130 Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend. 

SPECIFICATIONS AND PLANS will be available on or about Monday, May 02, 2022, after 9:00 A.M. Boston time.
